How do I cancel or change a booking?
Open the booking in the app, tap the options menu, and choose amend or cancel. Cancellation rules and any applicable fees are shown before you confirm.
I missed my slot · what now?
If you're running late, message your barber from the booking screen. If you no-show, the slot is released to walk-ins and the booking is marked closed.
Can I book for someone else?
Yes · pick the barber and service as normal, then add the customer's name and phone number in the notes field when you confirm.

How long do refunds take?
Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
What payment methods are accepted?
Baber accepts all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported. In markets where mobile money is available, we support MTN, Vodafone and Airteltigo through Paystack.
What is the service fee?
A 15% service fee is added to each booking with per-market floor and cap (e.g. GH₵2 floor / GH₵25 cap in Ghana). The fee covers payment processing, notifications, and platform support.

How do I join a walk-in queue?
Open the shop, tap "Join the queue" on a barber's profile. You'll see your live position, people ahead, and estimated wait time. We'll notify you when your barber is ready.
What if the queue is paused?
Some barbers pause new walk-ins during busy stretches. You'll see a "Queue paused" badge and a push notification will land when the queue reopens.

How do I set up my shop on Baber?
Download the Baber Shop app, create your shop profile, add your services and pricing, set your working hours, and invite your barbers. Your shop will be visible to nearby customers within minutes.
How does payout work?
Payouts are scheduled weekly through Stripe Connect (or Paystack subaccounts in supported markets). The full booking total lands in your connected bank, minus the service fee retained by Baber.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account > Settings in the app and tap Delete Account. You can also email privacy@baber.app. Your data will be removed within 30 days.
